The
first wine above sold out in 30 minutes.
It's an absolutely delightful wine from
Bethlehem. We convinced the importer to
send us a few more cases, so for now, it's
at Renegade.
2022 Cremisan Cellars Dabouki
(Palestine, Bethlehem)
$30
The
wine on the right is no stranger to
anyone; it's our best selling white wine
from the Dolomiti region of Italy. By far.
We stocked up for the weekend on this one.
2023 Cantina Terlan Pinot Bianco
Tradition
(Italy, Alto Adige)
$26.50
and
now for a few new wines that have peaked
our interest, perfect for the long
weekend:

Greatness
2022
F.X. Pichler Grüner Veltliner
Dürnsteiner
(Austria, Wachau) $52
From
one of the pinnacle producers in Wachau,
this is a benchmark-and-beyond example of
how great Gruner can be. Clean, fresh,
bright with a beautiful elegant, savory
quality that simply invites.

We've
Heard This One
2023
Moreau-Naudet & Fils Chablis
(France, Burgundy, Chablis) $62
We've
heard this many times: "I don't drink
Chardonnay, I drink Chablis" or various
versions of it. And to an extent the
sentiment is true; there's nothing quite
like wine from Chablis. The 'shells and
rock' quality (mineral + salty/savory),
the quality/price ratio (very fair), and
the versatility of the wine (pairs with
oysters just as perfectly as with roasted
chicken). This wine is prime.

A
Liter on Sale
2021
Poggio Terra Piemonte Barbera
(Italy, Piedmont) $18 - 1.0 Liter (reg 22)
What
a great wine for grilling. First, it's a
liter of wine, great to share with guest,
or bring to the BBQ and become the most
popular person there. Second, it's medium
bodied, smooth. and super-enjoyable,
capable of sipping along side grilled
salmon, portobellos, or a NY strip. It
screams weekend.

Goodness
2020
Bodegas Riojanas Viña Albina Crianza
(Spain,Rioja) $20
A
beautiful blend of 80% Tempranillo, 15%
Mazuelo, 5% Graciano makes this another
perfect weekend sipper. Medium bodied,
fresh and bright, clean and silky, it's
clearly a winner.

Classic
Mystery
2022
Poderi Colla Nebbiolo d'Alba Drago
(Italy, Piedmont, Alba) $34
The
nose is shy yet expressive, with prominent
notes of raspberry and wild strawberry,
complemented by floral hints (violet,
rose, etc). There are also subtle
undertones of spice and hints of licorice
and undergrowth (not exactly like the
'Burgundian' forest floor but close) as
the wine evolves.
