Our Annual Bastille Tasting!
-
She's Back! French Importer Nathalie Bertat from
Cru Wines
will take us on a journey of France.

-
We have finally narrowed down the line-up & are very excited to share these spectacular wines with you!
-
We begin with a sparkling Vouvray from the Loire Valley, followed by a
Rose from Chateau L'Afrique in Provence,
-
then a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc from Alain Gueneau in Sancerre
(sidenote: This is one of the house wines at San Ysidro Ranch this Summer,
and the owners/winemakers are lovely, fantastic people!)

-
From there we will pour a stellar Chardonnay
from famed Beaujolais producer Lucien Lardy
-
Moving along to the reds, the first redefines how great Corsican wines can be:
from native varietals on the island, the 2013 d'Alzipratu Red.
-
next, a Grand Cru Bordeaux from Saint Emilion,
followed by a Grenache/Syrah blend from Chateau la Cote in the Rhone Valley
-
and finally one of Decanter magazine's favorite Syrahs in Crozes-Hermitage from up and coming producer Fayolle Fills & Fille.

-
We have not finalized the hors d'oeuvres yet but many of you know Master Chef Lydia
and how superb her food is.
-
You can count on some type of smoked/cured Salmon dish,
a pate (Foie is legal now, right?)
Pork Rillettes perhaps, and grilled mushroom crostinis...
We are still working on the menu and will post it on facebook in the next few days.

-
$20 at the door - Reservations Highly Recommended
