Our Featured Wines in
April

2008 Pali 'Huntington' Santa Barbara
County Pinot Noir $17.50

Deep ruby in color, the 2008 Huntington explodes with aromas of black cherry,
strawberry, maple, rhubarb, wildflowers and crème fraiche. Intense strawberry
and cherry follow through on the palette, joined by hints of mango, white
pepper, herbal tea and sage. Sweet red fruit lingers on the long, smooth finish.
While rich and mouth-filling, the 2008 Huntington remains light on its feet
thanks to good acidity and an impression of freshness imbued in every layer
of flavor. This level of complexity and finesse would be impressive even in a
wine costing twice as much.

Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County
in California
Cooperage: 10 months barrel age; 40% new French Oak
Technical Data: 14.6% alcohol by volume; Bottled August 2009; 900 cases
produced

2008 Morgan 'Metallico' Chardonnay Sale: $14 reg 19.50

Tasting Notes: Metallico is Chardonnay in its purest form, without an overlay of oak to mask any of its pure fruit expression. The aromatics, intense
fruit character, and bright acidity, much like a classic French Chablis
Wine Spectator 89 points!
